The expression “pay it forward” is used to describe the concept of asking that a good turn be repaid by doing a good turn for another. Giving without the expectation of the same in return is essential to the development of self-esteem, in turn helping the grief recovery process. The ability to not want a good deed repaid but rather paid forward is also the foundation for community service. Our program will teach the children the importance of the Pay It Forward concept and how to apply it towards the community.
