Mission Statement
LLI’s mission is to provide medical support, educate, nurture and empower orphans and vulnerable children displaced by wars to become productive and empathic world citizens, respectful of human rights, and dedicated to community service. As part of its mission, LLI will train and employ women in academic and supporting positions and will work to connect orphans and vulnerable children with the surrounding community.
The way we’re operating now
We all work on voluntary bases, no salaries and no overheads; each member carries his/her own expenses. We only welcome services and provide services. This is done with the help of our partners in Iraq and abroad. Our partners abroad are International Children Heart Foundation, ICHF and Preemptive Love Coalition, PLC. Our partners in Iraq are Iraqi Red Crescent, IRC, and Barazani Foundation; we also have a Memorandum of Understanding with the Iraqi Ministry Of Health.
The way we operate is as follows:
- We find the need.
- We work on putting together a project, program or a mission.
- We find the party that would accommodate and help in executing it.
- We find the sponsor/sponsors to pay necessary cost to make the project,
program or mission successful.
